Our History

Oceanity has built its track record on a strategic foundation developed even before the Company was formally established.

Founded in 2015, CMM OSV was created with the mission of innovating and strengthening the offshore energy sector, combining strong expertise in investments, maritime asset management, governance and highly complex operations. Since its founding, the Company has expanded its operations through strategic partnerships, investments in technology and sustainability, fleet expansion and a focus on long-term contracts. This commitment to operational excellence and innovation has established its position as one of the sector’s leading companies, including first place in Petrobras’ PEOTRAM assessment in 2021 and 2024. Beginning in 2024, CMM, now Oceanity, entered a new phase of expansion marked by a corporate restructuring, new financing, strategic contracts and the introduction of CSOVs in Brazil.

The rebranding from CMM to Oceanity reflects this ongoing evolution and reaffirms its commitment to excellence, reliability and sustainability in the maritime and energy sectors.
