Innovation

At Oceanity, innovation is at the heart of our journey and our vision for the future.

We continuously seek solutions capable of increasing operational efficiency, reducing emissions and contributing to a new generation of offshore services that are more efficient, more sustainable and better prepared for the future.

We pioneered the operation of the world's first
fast vessels dedicated to emergency response to oil spills.

More agile and efficient, these vessels combine lower operating costs, greater coverage capacity and the autonomy to operate without the need for additional support to deploy containment booms.

We have also been at the forefront of developing fast vessels for offshore passenger transportation equipped with active motion-compensated gangways, enhancing safety, efficiency and performance in specialized operations.

By introducing a Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) to Brazil, Oceanity brought a new solution for complex offshore operations to the market, capable of accommodating approximately 60 people with a high standard of comfort and an integrated operational support structure, including workshops, offices, warehouses, a gangway and a crane. This vessel also marked the introduction of hybrid propulsion to our fleet, with a significant reduction in diesel consumption and carbon emissions.

Oceanity’s innovation also
extends into the future of the maritime industry.

We were the first shipping company in the world to announce ethanol as a decarbonization solution for maritime transportation, reaffirming our commitment to the development of concrete alternatives for more sustainable offshore shipping.
